Mohammed M Arain, MD, FACS

After graduating from Liaquat Medical College in Pakistan, Dr. Arain finished his surgical residency at Mount Sinai Hospital/Chicago Medical School in 1975. He went on to private practice in Chicago's Western Suburbs, and has performed thousands of laparoscopic procedures since then.

Dr. Arain is board certified, a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and a member of the American Society of Bariatric Surgeons. He is a Senior Consulting Surgeon at LaGrange Hospital and has served as Director of Trauma Surgical Services at Hinsdale Hospital since 2005. Dr. Arain joined Synchrony Health in January of 2008 to apply his extensive experience to the growing problem of obesity management.
